L'oreal Paris Mythic Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

Again, I'm sorry for not posting on Thursday. :(
Sincere apologies.

I recently started using L'oreal Paris' Mythic Oil shampoo and conditioner, on recommendation of my Stylist at the Salon. At first I was hesitant, because I'd never heard of it and such, but now I've stopped using any other products on my hair. Totally trust Mythic Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.

Mythic Oil is made of organic constituents and does not damage your hair. The other shampoos that you get in the market easily, damage your hair causing problems like hairfall, dandruff, etc. Mythic oil has no side effects on your hair, and also protects it. The same, being made of organic constituents comes to the benefit of the user anyways.

Yes, this costs way too much. I think the shampoo costs around INR 850 and the conditioner costs around INR 800. But that is because it is organic as I've heard. It lasts apparently for a month or two, according to me, while the conditioner may last longer than that. I think, you can even apply the conditioner to your scalp, and it won't cause any damage.

I have attached a picture of the shampoo I have, just for the size(I got the picture from the internet xD). Now you do know, why I said it would last for a long time.

I have no idea if this actually reduces hair problems like Dandruff and Hair fall. My stylist had claimed that it is very good for your hair, but my hair fall problem has not yet stopped or reduced, so I won't claim that.

That's it for Mythic Oil then. I hope this post helps you :)

Maybelline Baby Lips

So, the chapped lips season is almost over, and now I plan to do a review of a lip balm..(only me..)
Anyways, so as you guys probably know, I absolutely love Maybelline, and so today I'm reviewing one of their most famous products, 'Baby Lips' !

The Maybelline Baby Lips that I have is the Cherry Kiss one, and I'd like to say that it is amazing! It gives my lips a natural look, not too dark, nor too light. Just perfect, casual look. It does not as such protect your lips as it claims to, because my lips chapped even though I used it daily. But it is a good product, if you want a lip balm for daily application, which also gives you a natural look.

It costs around INR 165, if I'm not wrong, but I got it at discounted rate at INR 150. I think this is quite affordably, seeing that this product lasts for more than 3-6 months at least, even if you use it daily. And moreover the look you get after application, is something this lip balm is worth buying for.

Packaging is quite attractive. It comes in different colors, for all different flavors. Baby Lips is available in about 18 different flavors according to the internet, though I have seen about 8-9 only in the local markets.

The advertising that this product did was A LOT. There were ads about it on TV, I saw the banners around the city, etc. And that's why I got to know of this product, and i'm glad I did.

Recently, Maybelline also released an addition(rather an upgrade kind of thing) to the Baby Lips family. It is the 'Baby Lips Electro' ! I've used that one too, but I think I'll put it up as a separate review some other day.

That's all for Maybelline's Baby Lips. I hope this post helps you. :) Rather you should just go grab it.
If you would like me to review any product, please drop in a comment or so. I would love some constructive feedback, if you commented ! :)

Nivea Frangipani and Oil Shower Gel

I'm extremely sorry for not posting the previous week, but that was only because I had exams. I know I should've mentioned in my last post saying the same and not kept anyone who reads hanging, but I really thought I would be able to post, but unfortunately I couldn't. So sorry about that.

I think that even body care products, come into the Beauty category, so I thought I'll dedicate a post to my Shower Gel. And as you may have guessed it, yes, I use 'Nivea Frangipani and Oil Shower Gel'. So, in today's post I'll be telling you more about it.

There has been absolutely no advertisement about this product, and I didn't even know something like this exists until that day, when my eye caught the sight of these bottles on a rack in Big Bazaar. I thought, there was no harm in trying so, I got one, and now use it daily.

I can happily say, that this is one of the best Shower Gels that I have tried. It has a jelly kind of base(so gel, haha), unlike other few which I'd tried. It is smooth like anything, and is better than the Lux ones you get in the market. The colour is also really nice, and attractive if you ask me, which is why I selected this one.

The cost is INR 185, for 250 ml bottle, which is reasonable, for a product so good, if you ask me. I have no idea if there are any sizes, though I hardly doubt it. There are three flavor choices, but I do not remember the names of each. I'll try to attach a picture of all 3 if I can.

I guess, that's it for Nivea's Shower Gel. Do drop in a comment or two, and some constructive feedback would be appreciated too ;) And sorry again, for not posting the past week.

Laura Paige's Midnight Blue Eyeliner

I'm that one person who can never apply liquid eyeliner properly. NEVER. I'm that bad at it. Which is why, I have to use a pencil liner and that is how I ended up buying one during my Singapore trip!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was quite pleased with Laura Paige's Make Up Stick and I'm also extremely happy with the eyeliner. This eyeliner is actually those two-in-one kind of pencils, which you can use as kajal(kohl) and eyeliner as well.

The shade looks perfect on me, and I guess it would look good even on tanned skin tone. It's really smooth, though I don't really know about the long lasting part of it. And it does smudge a bit, but I guess you can't expect it to be a pencil of perfection.

Coming to the cost. I don't remember the cost of it exactly. I guess it was somewhere from 1S$D to 3S$D. If you need a good liner for yourself, I'd rather say, you'll get some cheaper options available locally in India and there is no actual point in ordering this internationally. You may also find smudge-free ones.

That's it for Laura Paige's Midnight Blue Eyeliner. I know today's post was short, but I had absolutely forgotten that I need to post. Really sorry :(
Do leave in a comment or so, because I love constructive feedback :)

Laura Paige's Moisture Make Up Stick

Remember I recently visited Singapore and got few(or more than just a few) cosmetics back? One of them was Laura Paige's Moisture Make Up Stick. So today's review is dedicated to this product.

In all honesty, I had never heard of this brand before, but it seemed nice, so I bought it. Moreover I was looking for a product like this, which can be used instead of our foundation and compact(since this was more convenient), but it was never available in India. The only one time I saw such a thing here, was Maybelline's BB cream one. But apparently, that one is only for those with oily skin.

Very recently I used it and I can proudly say I've got no regrets. It gives you the perfect amount of glow(if used appropriately, or else you turn out as a ghost, like I did in my first attempt!), it is not heavy, and you don't feel it stretching your skin at all! I don't mind replacing this with my normal compact at times!

The one that I have, is 'Light Beige' and it suits my skin tone. I don't know if they have different shades for different skin tones,as I don't recall seeing that, but the internet says they have 4 different shades. This stick that I have is of 8 grams, and I recall seeing a bigger pack, though I'm not quite sure about it. And 8 grams, would last at least 6 months, if my estimate isn't wrong.

Coming to the cost, I think it costs upto 3S$D. You won't get it in India, so the best option, if you really want to get this, is to order online.

That's it for LP's Moisture Make Up Stick. I'm sorry for this late update today, but I was busy during the day. I'd rather say, if you check my blog every Thursday and Saturday, then please check it on Fridays and Sundays instead, as now, the updates may be done late night. Really sorry for all inconvenience. :(
I'm quite disappointed that there has been no participation in the giveaway. It closes on 10th January,2015. And I'm canceling it due to no participation. Maybe I'll hold it some other time. :)
If you want me to review any product/blog about something, please do comment! And I'd love some constructive feedback as well. ;)
Take care. And I'll see ya on Saturday night ;)

Alobon- Waterproof Color Makeup Remover.

I'm so sorry for not updating but I returned from Singapore on Wednesday. And it was my mom's birthday on Thursday so no update! But well, I got a variety of cosmetics from Singapore, so here's the review of one of those.

I always had issues with removing makeup, because even washing your face twice or thrice wouldn't help it remove thoroughly. And so, when I saw this, I didn't hesitate grabbing it!

I used this today itself, to remove my dark purplish blue eye shadow. And guess what? It worked wonders! You just have to dab a little of it on a small cotton piece and use it on the area where you want the make up removed. And with a few swipes of your cotton, the makeup is removed. And of course, this does not apply on lipstick or lip makeup.

Alobon's Waterproof Color Makeup Remover is actually a deep cleansing oil and this is clearly mentioned on the box. This is another reason to grab it, as I highly doubt it will have side effects, seeing it is an oil(even if it isn't natural). But it is still better to test on a smaller portion of your skin before using it, to avoid side effects if any.

This product comes in a small bottle, packed in a box. The one that I have is a bottle of 50 ml, and I'm not aware if there are any sizes in this.

Coming to the cost, I really don't remember the cost for which I bought this. I guess, it was something 3S$D(Singapore Dollars). I don't think it should exceed that even if my estimate is wrong.

That's it for Alobon-s Waterproof Color Makeup Remover. I hope you found this post impressive, and it helps you decide if it's worth a try or not.
Do drop in a comment or so, because I'd love some constructive feedback. Also, my previous post, contains information about my GIVEAWAY ! It is open till 10th January,2015. But if I don't get any response, unfortunately, I'll have to cancel the giveaway.

Winter Favorites! + GIVEAWAY

Like every other beauty blogger, I too, have my personal favorites that keep on changing from time to time. So,in today's post, I'm going to list out my favorites, not only in Beauty products, but also in Food and Books.. This is a December Favorites post actually, but since it has got real chilly in Mumbai why not make it Winter Favorites? And I'm going to such 'Favorites' posts monthly. Be sure to read the complete post, because there is just a little something at the end..

Beauty- Starting with Beauty, my favorites when it comes to Beauty products this month, are as follows-
1) Maybelline Color Show's 'Blackcurrant Pop' and 'Porcelain White'- Maybelline has been my favorite brand for quite a while, and it never fails to impress me. The Blackcurrant shade is a pastel purple which suits calm and cool climate like the one that is now. The Porcelain White is, as the name says a White, and even plain White is lovely. Like all Maybelline Color Show Nail polishes, even these ones are lovely and smooth as ever. For some reason, I feel they have a sort of charm and elegance.

2) Maybelline's Baby Lips Electro Pop- I know that I mention Maybelline products too much(way too much!), but I can't help it! And I recently got this one home. The flavor that I have is 'Oh! Orange'. At first, I wasn't impressed by it, but now I'm addicted! I love how the look isn't all orange-ey on me, and suits well.

They should make me Maybelline's brand ambassador. Haha.

Books- Reading is more than just a hobby to me. It's a drug, that I can't live without. I cannot go a day without reading. Be it the hard-copy books, or the eBooks, I am willing to read them. So here go my favorites for December-
1) I Too Had A Love Story- This book by Ravinder Singh, touches your heart so well, I'd like to say, it's one of those books, which, when you finish them, you are left questioning your existence on the planet. That is how good this was. I'd recommend it to one and all. Go read it!

2) My Wattpad Love- This book, is one I read on an online reading and writing community,'Wattpad'. I'm totally in love with this book. The characters are so relatable, the author, Ariana Godoy's writing so enjoyable, you don't feel like putting the book aside for a minute. Definitely one of those books, which one can go back and read over and over again.

Food- I don't hesitate to say, that I'm a huge foodie! I love food, and I'm proud to say, I'm one of those people who live to eat and not the other way round! Here's what I liked in food in December!-
1) Pizza Dosa- Pizza Dosa that you get right in front of NM(Narsee Monjee) College of Commerce and Economics(Where I study!) tastes divine. You are left licking your fingers in the end! And I mean it literally..

2) Paneer Tikka Pizza- Paneer Tikka Pizza from Pizza Box, in Vile Parle East, Hanuman Road, right beside Panshikar Sweet shop, is amazing. No words to describe how good it was. A bit costly yes, but you only live once!

Congratulations! You came this far! Now, there's a reward for you!
